Job Description
As the Regulatory Assistant Legal Officer in the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Office, you will provide legal advice and representation to Royal College of Nursing members in regulatory law proceedings. Your role will include preparing and conducting cases before the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA), managing your own caseloads, and in conjunction with lawyers and support staff within the department, work as part of the Northern Legal team
With a Law Degree or equivalent and with admission as Solicitor, Barrister-at-Law or Legal Executive desirable, you should have experience in all aspects of regulatory law/professional conduct litigation (with experience of conducting cases in the NMC/Care Standards Tribunal).
